Milima war ein toller Start auf unserer Südafrika Rundreise. Die Lage ist super, das Camp hat Zimmer im Manor House und Tents. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich auf ein Tent achten, das ist individueller. Es gibt einen Pool und ein eigenes Wasserloch, das zuverlässig Tiere anlockt. Herrlich, um ganz entspannt Tiere zu bestaunen! We had an amazing time at Milima.
The rooms were very comfortable and easy to walk between ours and other family members.
The service was outstanding. No complaints with the service. Only thing would have been to not start the outdoor dining until they had purchased heaters.

Foi sensacinal fical hospedado no Milima, os quartos são maravilhosos, especialmente a cabana. Equipe nota mil, todos atenciosos sem falar nos motoristas do safari, fazem de tudo para conseguirmos ver os BIG 5. as refeições deliciosas, todos os dias cardápios diferentes. It's not a Lodge that's worth the price it charges. The space is nice and beautiful, an immersion in the savanna.

There are three meals included (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and the food is good. However, the options are very limited, considering you only have one choice per meal (à la carte). Despite being all-inclusive, we neither saw nor were informed of any snacks or additional meals being available throughout the stay.

The bar, despite the variety and being open all day, doesn't have anyone stationed there — you always have to call someone over. The drinks in general aren't good; the mojito tastes like Sprite, and the piña colada is made with orange juice (a recipe I'm not familiar with).

Being a resort-style structure in the middle of the savanna, the infrastructure is quite weak. There's nothing to do inside the hotel besides the pool, which was very dirty. There were several live insects swimming in it, which is dangerous considering you're in the middle of the savanna.

The safari guide seems "invested" in helping you spot the big five (but only them as well). However, he strongly suggests throughout the game drives that you give an extra tip at the end of the trip.

Additionally, even though the airport transfer is charged separately, per person, per leg, and is VERY expensive, they set a random time and, in my case, I arrived at the airport 3.5 hours before my flight's boarding. The airport is small and there's nothing to do there.

Finally, the staff's service, except for management, was always very attentive and pleasant. The hotel gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for that, but it doesn't come close to being worth the price it charges. Their justification that it's a "new hotel" doesn't hold up, given that they've been operating for almost 4 years.

Nota 10, equipe excepcional, comida e conforto no Milima

Tivemos uma estadia absolutamente perfeita no Milima. Toda a equipe foi muito sensível, acolhedora e sempre disposta a ajudar.

Quero falar um pouco sobre o nosso guia de todos os dias, o Caswell. Ele foi fantástico, muito conhecedor, paciente e tornou cada safári inesquecível. Porém, fiquei realmente espantada ao ler outra avaliação aqui dizendo coisas que não condizem nada com o trabalho que ele fez para a gente. A nossa experiência com o Caswell foi simplesmente excelente. Ele foi profissional, gentil e fez muito mais do que o esperado todos os dias. Sinceramente, eu não reconheço nada dos comentários negativos, e espero que o lodge e os futuros hóspedes confiem no trabalho extremamente positivo que o Caswell entrega.

Eu também fiz uma massagem com a Lisbeth, e foi excelente, realmente relaxante e profissional.

A equipe da cozinha merece um elogio especial: a comida estava deliciosa todos os dias, e a organização dos quartos foi excepcional. Sinceramente, não tenho nada para reclamar, tudo superou as nossas expectativas.

Muito obrigada a toda a família Milima por tornar a nossa estadia tão especial. Um nota 10 merecidíssimo! Com certeza voltaremos.

We had a wonderful stay at Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge and the experience truly exceeded our expectations.

The lodge offers an excellent balance between comfort, hospitality, safari experience and value for money. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, and the team made us feel at home from the very beginning.

One of the biggest highlights was definitely the safari experience. Our ranger was exceptional and made a huge difference throughout the game drives. We had incredible wildlife sightings, and the overall safari quality was excellent.

Another unforgettable aspect was the waterhole in front of the main area. Being able to watch elephants and rhinos so close while relaxing by the pool or having a drink was absolutely magical.

The food was also outstanding. Every meal was beautifully presented and delicious, honestly comparable to some 5-star lodges we have experienced before. The all-inclusive concept worked very well and made the stay even more enjoyable and seamless.

The lodge itself is beautiful, comfortable and very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and we especially appreciated the warm and personal service from the entire team.

Milima is a fantastic option for travelers looking for an authentic safari experience with excellent hospitality, great wildlife encounters and very good value for money.
